The fruits of my latest visit to Fopp.

The fruits of my latest visit to Fopp.

Here is that “ask me this” thing filled out as thought it were a questionnaire

1. What’s the most depressing movie you’ve ever watched?

Hmmm. It’s pretty a good film but Antichrist is very bleak.

2. What’s the most disturbing movie you’ve ever watched?

Irreversible.

3. An actor/actress you’ve seen in more than 8 movies? Name the movies.

I have seen every single one of Woody Allens 40 plus films. I even sat through Jean Luc Goddard’s King Lear for his cameo.

4. A film you could watch on repeat for the rest of your life?

Rocky Horror Picture Show

5. What’s the very first film you remember watching?

The Jungle Book

6. A film you wish you hadn’t watched?

Most Bond Films. I find Bond tedious.

7. A film you wish had a sequel?

I’d like to see a sequel to Bubba Ho-tep. They promised one in the closing credits, but I don’t think its ever going to happen now.

8. Which book would you like to see adapted into a film?

Esio Trot by Roald Dahl

9. The most aesthetically pleasing movie you’ve ever watched?

Amelie

Orson Welles

11. Your favourite movie genre?

Comedy/drama

12. A movie that holds a special place in your heart?

I refer you to my previous post

13. Your favourite comedy film?

Love and Death

14. A music video you would love to see developed into a film?

N/A

15. A film everyone loves but you hate?

Donnie Darko. Its just a bunch of scenes. I think the directors later work proves it was a fluke hit too.

16. A film you love but everyone else hates?

Mixed Nuts. It’s a pretty poor Steve Martin remake of a very dark French comedy. But I watch it every year.

17. Which cinematic universe would you like to live in?

Not sure how to answer this as there are films I like, such as Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me. But I would never want to live there. I’ll say Arthur Christmas

18. What’s your favourite biopic?

Does The Elephant Man count? if not maybe Ed Wood

19. Mainstream movies or indie movies?

Indie Films

20. Old movies or contemporary movies?

I tend to favor old movies

21. A film with an amazing soundtrack?

I recently downloaded the soundtrack to Dark Shadows.

In group projects it is the loudest shouters not the best ideas that get used.
